There are a hundred good ways to enjoy Lake George, but there's one that's hard to beat: from the deck of a steamboat, with the Adirondacks rising on either side and the water spreading out for 32 miles. The Lake George Steamboat Company's 2026 season is in full swing, and the lineup is more fun than ever.

The Three Boats

  • Lac du Saint Sacrement: the largest of the fleet, a full dinner-cruise vessel with grand staircases and multiple decks. Perfect for themed dinner cruises and the big-event nights.

  • Minne Ha Ha: the classic paddlewheel steamboat. Iconic, photogenic, and a tradition unto itself.

  • Mohican: the smaller, sleeker option — great for shorter cruises and tighter group experiences.

Themed Cruises to Book Now

The 2026 specialty cruise calendar is loaded:

  • Lac du Saint Sacrement Loveboat Dinner Cruise — Wednesday, June 24, boarding 5:30 p.m.

  • Dueling Pianos with Savage Pianos aboard Lac du Saint Sacrement — Friday, June 19, 6:00–9:00 p.m.

  • Mardi Gras Lunch & Dinner Cruises aboard Lac du Saint Sacrement — Wednesday, July 8 (12:00 p.m. lunch, 6:30 p.m. dinner).

  • Mohican Carnival Cruises — Sunday, July 12 and Sunday, August 9, boarding 6:00 p.m.

  • Minne Ha Ha Pirate Cruises — Thursday and Friday evenings, June 25 through August 28, boarding 6:45 p.m.

  • Elvis Dinner & Luncheon Cruises aboard Lac du Saint Sacrement — Nathan Pittorf brings the King to the lake. Always books fast.

  • July 4th & 5th Fireworks Cruises — all three boats running, 9:15–10:35 p.m., for front-row fireworks viewing.

Pro Tips for Cruising

  • Book early. Themed and fireworks cruises sell out, sometimes weeks in advance.

  • Dress in layers. The temperature drops 10–15 degrees once you're on the water, even in July.

  • Bring a camera, but also put it down. Some moments just need to be watched.

  • Eat light beforehand if you're doing a dinner cruise — they feed you well.

  • Pirate cruises are a hit with kids; pick the right cruise for your group.

If You Only Do One

For first-timers: a July 4th or weekly Thursday Fireworks Cruise is hard to top. For couples: the Loveboat Dinner Cruise or a Dueling Pianos night. For families: the Pirate Cruise on the Minne Ha Ha, no contest.

Tickets and full schedules are at lakegeorgesteamboat.com. The lake doesn't get old. The cruises don't either.
